Serving others is an essential component of a meaningful relationship with Christ. There is no greater joy than to know that you were used by God in a way that had an eternal impact. That's what volunteering is all about; it's an opportunity to use the gifts and talents that you have been given.

Some opportunities require advance training/registration while many simply let you just "show up." Regardless of the process involved, the important thing is to get started.
