God is doing a new work through Mission Mississippi. No longer can
we as Christians excuse ourselves from putting racial and
denominational reconciliation on our agendas. We need to listen to our
Heavenly Father's call to us to get actively involved in the movement
for reconciliation and unity in the Body of Christ. Mission
Mississippi sponsors and coordinates opportunities for people of
different denominations and races to meet, get to know each other and
serve the Lord together through community gatherings.

In every community, boys and girls are left to find their own recreation
and companionship in the streets. An increasing number of children are
at home with no adult care or supervision. Young people need to know
that someone cares about them. Boys
& Girls Clubs offer that and more. Club programs and services promote
and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense
of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence.
