Hope House is Crosswind's answer to a deep need in our community. So many young single moms need a second chance. The typical single mom we encounter in our daily assistance program is under 25 with two children. She still needs her high school education, a job and a vehicle. She has hurdle upon hurdle to be able to make it.
Hope House will offer each woman a one-year, residential program specifically designed to fit her individual needs and eliminate the destructive patterns within her life. While we house and support each woman and her children for an entire year, the women work hard to further their education, begin new life skills, become better mothers, obtain a job, and much more. Our mission is to give these women hope for themselves and their children, and equip them with the tools they need to become strong, confident, and self-sufficient.
At Hope House they will be able to begin to work on a Life Plan that will address the needs that they have. Living on campus, Hope House staff will be able to provide a positive stable environment so that these young moms can succeed. Crosswind believes that if young moms can be given a second chance and they begin to be stable productive citizens then not only will they make it but so will their children.
Crosswind is presently in the fund raising and planning stages for the construction of Hope House. Please consider giving to this vision and great need in our community.
