Crosswind is a nonprofit 501c3 outreach ministry helping marginalized and hurting people meet practical needs through relationship-based care.
Crosswind sees our lives as being ‘on mission’. We
are developing and practicing a missionary lifestyle in our community. Among fellow believers, we try to inspire and demonstrate practical
handles on incarnational ministry.
A Mission Specific focus...
God's call is to all who will believe, yet at
Crosswind we see in Jesus' life and ministry a particular focus on the
broken elements of society, those in bondage and brokenhearted and poor
and blind. Crosswind directs our missional intentionality to the
fringes of our community in hopes that Christ will be made to look
glorious through the church as he heals and transforms broken lives.
A Gospel Dependent Calling...
Jesus' finished work on Calvary leaves us with a hope of reconciled lives. God has reconciled us to himself in Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.
Crosswind is completely sold on the vision that the church is a people, a family, a community of those who Christ has purchased for himself. Therefore, we love and partner with the local church in our city on mission as often as God gives us favor and opportunity.
