We believe the good news called the gospel.

The gospel is the good news about what God has done in Jesus Christ his Son to save His people from their sins. The angel said, “Call His name Jesus. For He shall save His people from their sins.” (Matt.1:21)

We believe that God saves His people by grace.

That God ‘saves by grace’ means that God does not see anyone in Adam’s fallen race (all of us) worth saving yet because of His love for His Son Jesus He has given to Jesus a people, who are His bride, the church and He loves those people and has sent His Son Jesus to save them from their sins. (Eph. 2:1-9)

We believe that Jesus’ death is what God required to save His people from their sins.

Jesus was all God and all man and He was perfect in every way so God who is holy and just accepted Jesus as the necessary sacrifice for His fallen people. The resurrection is the testimony that God has indeed accepted Jesus’ payment for our sins and that His people now stand righteous before God based on that payment. (Rom 4:25)

We believe that God brings His people to Himself through the hearing of the gospel.

God resurrects His spiritually dead people as they hear the good news about Jesus death for sinners. The Bible says the gospel is the power of God unto salvation. (Rom. 1:16) So God tells His fallen people the Good News about His Savior Son and that brings faith to His once dead people because “faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God” (Rom. 10:17)

We believe that believing the gospel is receiving Christ.

God commands us to “repent and believe the gospel”. (Mark 1:15) And God further says that as many as receive Him, to those who believe in His name, He gives them the right to become children of God.  He reminds us that we were spiritually born not of blood nor of our will or any other persons will but of God (John 1:12,13). That’s grace!

We believe that the mission of God’s people is to love God and love people, to extend to them the grace that has been extended to us by God so that they can experience the love of God through His people and hear the good news about Jesus.
